I am sad to announced I will be taking a break from putting together these kits, I have fully enjoyed working with all the wonderful designers, indie dyers and suppliers over the last few years – however I do not currently have the time to commit to this project.
I do not want to fully close the door on Prêt-À-Tricoter, as I might be willing to work with a partner in the future, just at the moment I am focusing my attention else where.
If you have not already done so please add your email address to the mailing list for future updates or read my personal blog (I will post any news there first). I will be closing the Facebook and Ravelry groups at the end of the year.
I have a Hunger Games Kit and some extra yarn from the Brit Knit Kits, which I will be listing here and Facebook soon, please leave a comment if you are interested.
Once again thank you to all the suppliers I have used over the years and a special thanks to all our wonderful customers.
Spring’s kit has been out for a while so I thought it was time for a preview, the pattern is Libelula by Rock + Purl knitted in the fabulous Mulberry Dyer silk lace with tiny glass bead accents.
As the second kits have now been sent out, I can spill the beans of the first kit…
Nordic Pine Socks by Michaela Knits
The pattern is Nordic Pines by MichaelaKnits with yarn by Sweet Clement.

Rock + Purl’s Announcement
Last week Ruth Garcia-Alcantud from Rock + Purl exclusively announced that she was one of the designers for the Brit Knit Kit Club, but which season will she be designing? Be among the first to know by signing up for the Club Now!
Brit Knit Kit: Lace Edition, will be a traditional Knitting Club with four parcels shipping in December, February, May, and August. Each Kit will include yarn, patterns and knitting notions all sourced from within the U.K.*
Each pattern will feature some aspect of LACE and be designed by one of our favourite British designers, each kit will include a limited edition yarn, hand-dyed in the U.K. and the knitting notions you will need to complete the project.
All the yarn will be sourced from within the U.K. hand-dyed by smaller yarn suppliers, not all the yarn will be lace-weight yarn. Colours will be a variety of semi-solids and variegated tones, inspired by the seasons. Think autumn foliage or English summer gardens.
Shipping will be the fourth week of the month.
The cost for this series is £120, including postage & packaging within the UK. For E.U. addresses add £15 for postage. For R.O.W. add £30.
